Heart beating faster. Panting. Salivating. Short of breath.
Those are just some of the reactions I had when I saw this blush along with elatement, excitement and ecstasy. As you all know by now, patterned blushes are my weakness and this blush is one of the most beautiful by far.
Housed in a gorgeous mercury clutch, the carving of roses awaits inside. The By Terry Terrybly Rose de Rose Trio Powder Blush is truly a sight for sore eyes. The powder itself smells delicately of a bouquet of roses. There are three different shades of pink matte and shimmer to give your skin a rosy flush whilst adding a faint shimmer for highlight. The formula is packed with photo-luminescent polymers so it looks like the skin is lit from within. It also contains light reflective correctors that melt into the skin while adjusting and toning either up or down to achieve a perfect flush and long-lasting flawless finish.
The luxe compact is said to be quite heavy but it resounds its relative price. The blush is priced at a steep $115 on the Space.NK online store which roughly equates to just over R1400. This is a limited edition item that is part of the Rose Infernale collection. Now while I can never justify spending that much on an individual blush, I can still add it on to my wishlist for the day I win the lottery or a friend decides to surprise me for my birthday 40 years from now 🙂
Have you tried any of the By Terry products? Which one is your favourite?

In December the MAC Lightness of Being collection was launched and for a month my heart ached whilst looking at thousands of pictures. When it made its way to our shores last month, I finally got my hands on it. I will first show the entire collection and you’ll find my review at the bottom. Thanks for reading…
So whilst on vacation in Durban in December, I was so excited to finally be able to go to a LUSH store and pick up some products. I had been hesitant to pace an online order many a time purely because of their steep R90 delivery charge to Johannesburg (I wanted a few products and it totalled over 4kgs apparently).
So today I’ll be showing you the other MAC items I picked up from The Cosmetic Company and they all happen to be blushes *blushing sheepishly*.
Welcome 2015. I hope everyone had an awesome festive season and here’s to new beginnings. I’ve decided to start this year off with a bang. I did a MAC haul some time ago and picked up two limited edition sets at a really great price and decided to gift one to one of my readers. Yes I know they are outdated but if you’d like to win one anyway, then keep on reading.
I’d like to share the current cheek products that I’ve seen on Instagram that I didn’t even know were available in SA besides the Physicians Formula ones. These few items I fell in love with the minute I laid eyes on them. If you browse through the pictures you’ll see why. Some of them have been out for a while and they range from drugstore to high-end. Enjoy! Read the rest of this entry
I am so excited to share with you this amazing special. The worth of products in this collection is beyond what I paid for it. I have never used Elizabeth Arden makeup before and I thought this was a great way to try it out since I know it is a world renowned brand. The makeup brushes on the counter in store was what caught my eye, and upon inquiring about their price I was introduced to this 18-piece collection. For now I will just be unboxing the items to show you what is contained in the set and I will do a proper review with swatches once I’ve tried everything out. Let’s get started. Walking in Dischem Cleawater yesterday, I managed to pick up a few items from the previous Essence Trend edition ‘Be Loud!’. This edition was launched internationally last year September and it only came to South Africa in June of this year. While it seems we are way behind on keeping up with the collections, the items I purchased are perfect for spring/summer days and I can’t wait to get my hands on some more. The blushers and jumbo sticks each come in two limited colours, Apricot and Pink Me.
