Heart beating faster. Panting. Salivating. Short of breath.
Those are just some of the reactions I had when I saw this blush along with elatement, excitement and ecstasy. As you all know by now, patterned blushes are my weakness and this blush is one of the most beautiful by far.
Housed in a gorgeous mercury clutch, the carving of roses awaits inside. The By Terry Terrybly Rose de Rose Trio Powder Blush is truly a sight for sore eyes. The powder itself smells delicately of a bouquet of roses. There are three different shades of pink matte and shimmer to give your skin a rosy flush whilst adding a faint shimmer for highlight. The formula is packed with photo-luminescent polymers so it looks like the skin is lit from within. It also contains light reflective correctors that melt into the skin while adjusting and toning either up or down to achieve a perfect flush and long-lasting flawless finish.
The luxe compact is said to be quite heavy but it resounds its relative price. The blush is priced at a steep $115 on the Space.NK online store which roughly equates to just over R1400. This is a limited edition item that is part of the Rose Infernale collection. Now while I can never justify spending that much on an individual blush, I can still add it on to my wishlist for the day I win the lottery or a friend decides to surprise me for my birthday 40 years from now 🙂
Have you tried any of the By Terry products? Which one is your favourite?

I have some great news and not so good news. The great news is that I finally managed to buy myself another camera yesterday 🙂 but on the flipside it is the first DSLR camera I have ever owned so I want to first learn how to use it before I take pictures with it. All these pictures were taken with my phone when I received the products so I apologise if they don’t appear so clear.
Instead of doing individual posts on my 27Pinkx items, I thought it would be better to group them all together as they hold the name of the brand, not like the Makeup Eraser and Makeup Bullet which they sell as well. My first order was sometime mid October last year. I purchased their makeup brush set as well as the brush holder. My order arrived within 2 days and they offer free shipping within SA (Yay).
Wow now that’s a long name for a product. Physician’s Formula have ‘shimmer strips’ in a lot of their product names so I guess they’ve had to explain each product in detail to differentiate. For all my South African followers 🙂 I bring to you a product on my wishlist that is actually on sale in most Dischem stores nationwide. To be honest, I was somewhat feeling a bit guilty featuring unattainable products, not only for my readers sake, but because they are not readily available, I miss out on purchasing it too.
Today is on to the lip products I purchased from my Kosmetik4less Haul which you can read about here. I somewhat regretting doing this on its own because the Essence Aquatix Lip Gloss is clear and the Essence Glossy Lipbalms don’t show up that well on my camera. Nevertheless, what’s done is done, so on we go.
I placed an order for the following products online in August last year, and due to the backlog at the post office, I only received my items in December. I’ve been using a few of the products but I thought I’d do this blog post for those of you who want to see what I picked up and also the prices of items and customs for the size of the order I placed. Because this post is going to be an image overload, I will do individual posts on certain items that contain swatches as well.
Hiya loves. So I recently went into our local Dischem and there was a huge L.A. Girl stand at the entrance to notify customers of the current Beauty Fair where they have great promotions and specials on offer. All L.A. Girl products are 25% off and since I own a few L.A. Girl products like the gel liner, blush and lip glazes, I knew that it would be good value for money.
This weeks feature is from a brand also not available in South Africa at the moment. Tarte Cosmetics was founded by Maureen Kelly out of her New York City apartment in 1999, another brand that is striving to provide cruelty-free cosmetics. ‘Healthy, eco-chic beauty, infused with skinvigorating ingredients like superfruit and plant extracts, vitamins, minerals, essential oils and other naturally-derived ingredients free from parabens, mineral oil, phthalates, sodium lauryl sulfate, triclosan, synthetic fragrances and gluten’.
If you love trying out different eyeshadow colours and are confident enough to strut bold shades but have to use 10 different eyeshadow brushes to achieve your look, then be prepared to be smitten.
While browsing new makeup trends last week, I came across the new limited edition eyeshadow palette from Chantecaille and instantly knew it was the item I wanted to feature on this weeks wishlist for numerous reasons.
